Motivation
Motivation is a very important part of being a leader. As a leader, you need to be able to motivate your workers or ‘followers’.
Positivity
Being positive is a huge part of being a leader. Having a positive attitude can encourage other people to keep trying and to work harder each and every day.
Responsibility
Responsibility comes with every job, including being a leader. The leader in every group is responsible for all of the success and failure that the group has.
Acceptance
Being a leader contains accepting a lot of different things. You have to learn to accept that things won’t always work out the way you want them to.
Commitment
If you would like to be a leader, you need to have at least some kind of commitment. You need commitment to getting things done, being there for everyone, etc.
Confidence
You need confidence to become a successful leader. Confidence can help you to get through projects without doubting yourself and trying to get out of whatever you’re doing.
Feedback
Leaders should always strive to give their work members feedback on their work. As leaders you should also occasionally ask your workers about your work to get their feedback.
Creativity
Obviously as a leader you need to be creative with your work. You need to be able to think outside of the box at times since solutions to problems aren’t always right in front of your eyes.
Trustworthy
Of course being a leader includes having to be trustworthy. Your workers need to be able to have trust in you and the jobs that you have in store for them.

If your workers just think of you as their leader than it’s not a very good relationship. You should try to start a friendship between you and your workers to try and get to know them
